Enviroscreen Insights on Avian Allergies

Our Enviroscreen expert is currently examining methods of monitoring dander levels in the immediate enviroment of several avian species. Although not as widely known about ,as say, dog allergies, some people are susecptible to this potentially very serious reaction. Historically pigeon lung disease was casused by exposure to these air-borne avian antigens, highlighting the need to take measures to ensure levels are minimised where possible. Those who are asthmatic or have prolonged exposure to birds can be particularly suseptible.
